Art Show

New Collectors

I’ve been an artist for  years, which has lead me to be carried in galleries across the country. This particular art show for my abstract landscapes was at Hayley Gallery in Columbus, OH. I’ve always enjoyed traveling to drop off my work at galleries and attend the openings, but this evening was even more special. I was able to meet the couple who purchased my abstract landscape on metal.  With galleries representing me in New Jersey, South Carolina, Ohio and Indiana I don’t always get to see the client’s reactions to my work and thank the buyer for choosing me.

Another Successful Art Show - Hyde Park

I’ve been showing my abstract landscapes at the Hyde Park Art Show for three years now and 2017 was my best year yet!  It was a fast weekend fill with good weather and a great crowd. People are always up for a conversation about my abstract landscape paintings, and the stories about each place are always special to talk about for me.

From my experience, sharing the process of how I created the piece and what inspired it builds a one-of-a-kind connection with the buyer.

News-Worthy Art

Here’s something that doesn’t happen every day - FOX News invited me to be interviewed!

For the past 25 years, the Berringer Crawford Museum’s annual gala freshART as raised more than a quarter million dollars for the museum’s educational outreach program. To celebrate their big 2-5 they invited 25 of the region’s best artists to work en plein air at Covington’s Devou Park to create works for the event’s live auction. I was honored to be one of the 25 artists selected for the event.

Award-Winning Artist

Here I am with my abstract landscape Harbinger of Fall at the Cincinnati YWCA exhibit opening of “Local Gems: Impressions of Earth and Space.” The executive director of the YWCA selected my work, along with three other women artists, out of 500 total entries from Art Comes Alive, a national art competition and exhibit.

The “Y” is on a mission to eliminate racism and empower women. I was honored to be selected and to support such a great cause.
